What is Give the Cold Shoulder?

It is a subscription service for cold shoulder clothing lovers whereby you will receive a random cold shoulder top OR dress delivered to your front door every month. 

Everyone is so busy these days and we are here to help you decide what great look to have and as we rarely receive gifts these days, Give the Cold Shoulder is an awesome way to gift yourself each month!

What is cold shoulder clothing?

Clothes that have cut-out sections at the shoulders to show that to-die-for skin! Cold shoulder clothing are flattering as they hide the part of your arms that you want to keep hidden and allows you to still bare some skin at the same time.

Take a moment to savour this special design by giving everyone the cold shoulder each month!

 

HOW DOES THIS ALL WORK?

What is included in my Give the Cold Shoulder parcel each month?

One specially selected cold shoulder item - a top OR a dress. How exciting!

What do you mean by specially selected?

Meaning you don't get to choose it because it's a surprise (and also because it's fun to anticipate what cold shoulder outfit to rock next!) - the same feeling you get when you receive a gift!

How many cold shoulder tops or dresses will I get with my subscription?

You will receive only 1 cold shoulder item each month. Our selection is always unique and special and we try to mix and match the right numberof tops vs. dresses for your subscription.

What sizes do you have? How come I can't choose the size?

Most of our clothes are free size and they should fit you if you're an S-sized to M-sized person. The clothes that we personally handpick and hunt down for you are only available in this size at the moment. Below is a rough idea on what free size / one size is:

IF you do get some designs that don't fit, just send them back to us and let us know if it's too big or too small and we'll replace them with a suitable replacement because we are awesome like that. Kindly refer to our returns policy for more detailed instructions.

 

SUBSCRIPTION

When is my credit card charged?

Your credit card is charged in full at the time of purchase (including 3-month, 6-month, 9-month and 12-month subscriptions).

Are there any other costs?

Nope, just the subscription costs and of course, shipping charges (but do note that you may need to pay for import duties and taxes in your home country, if any).

Can I have more than one subscription? How do I get more than one cold shoulder item each month?

Yes, of course! All you need to do is to add as many subscriptions to your cart as you want to receive each month. Oh, and hey, don't worry about getting the same design for each subscription. Each item in your monthly shipment will be a different design because yes, we are THAT good at selecting!

If I purchase the 1-month subscription as and when I like, up until 12 times, will I get a free month similar to the 12-month subscription?

Sorry, the additional free month is only applicable to members that choose the 12-month subscription whereby they receive 12 consecutive months of cold shoulder items. The more reason to choose the 12-month subscription! It's like The Twelve Months of Christmas (*sings*... and a free month in a pear tree!).

How do I buy a subscription for someone else?

Just click on "It's a gift" and fill in the details of the person you are sending to and you can choose to send them a cold shoulder item just one time (1 month) or every month for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months.

(And guys, the next time she tells you she has nothing to wear, just give her the cold shoulder!).

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can but not for the first 3 months of any subscription plan. There are no cancellation fees. All you need to do is to send us an email at wegotyou@givethecoldshoulder.com with the email subject title "Cancel Subscription - " and we'll work it out. See our cancellation and refund policies.

Kindly note that once a subscription order has been placed, the first 3 months cannot be cancelled and you will receive 3 cold shoulder items. The refund amount for remaining undelivered months of your subscription will be the prorated amount from your subscription plan.

Do send in your cancellation request before the end of the current month of your subscription to avoid receiving another awesome cold shoulder item as we do not refund the cost of cold shoulder items that have been shipped.

If all of it sounds too confusing (and we know this because Mother Goose left us some feedback on this), below is an example that hopefully will clear things up a little (and if not, you know where to reach us - see Customer Service section next):

Julie paid for a 6-month subscription (January, February, March, April, May, June).

January, February and March: Cannot be cancelled at all.

April, May, June: Can be cancelled so long as the cancellation request is placed on or before 31st of March.

If cancellation request is received on 1st April, Julie will still receive her April shipment but her May and June parcels will be cancelled and refunded accordingly.

Gosh, all of this cancellation stuff sounds really depressing. We are so depressed just thinking about it. If only we had something that could make us look and feel better. Hmmm...

 

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Why do some designs fit and feel different from others?

It's because we try to mix and match different designs for you and with different designs come different material. Some designs are meant to have a different fit to achieve a different look resulting in you looking great ALL. THE. TIME!

What if I don't like the design I received for that month?

You could regift it to someone that you think may love it and their life will be happier because of it. Take a selfie with that person wearing it and send us the picture so we could post it on some wall!

Alternatively, if you think that you want to give us the cold shoulder after the 3rd month of your subscription, you may send us an email at wegotyou@givethecoldshoulder.com to cancel your undelivered months remaining of your subscription *sniff* (*Taylor Swift's "All you had to do was stay" playing in the background*).

What are your clothes made of?

It could be anything! Most of the time it would be love with a bit of laughter and some sparkles from a unicorn's breath! Ok, seriously, as we source for different designs all over the world, the fabric may range from a combination of cotton, chiffon, rayon to polyester etc. Awww, look at us getting all fabric monster on you.

SHIPPING

When will my first Give the Cold Shoulder parcel ship?

We will process the order within 1-2 working days once your payment has been cleared. Delivery period varies according to country; it can take up to 2-3 weeks (sometimes even longer, depending on tons of aspects that we have no control over. Sigh.).

How do I change my shipping/delivery address?

Email us at wegotyou@givethecoldshoulder.com with the email subject title "Change of Delivery Address - " and let us know the new address. Once it has been updated at our end, we will send you a confirmation email. 

Please do update new addresses before the last day of the current month in order to have the following month's shipment shipped to the new address.

How do I check the status of my shipment?

Once we have handed over your parcel to the courier company, we will provide you with a tracking number so you could monitor your parcel like your "little precious" (*imitates Smeagol's voice*).

Where do you ship to?

Pretty much every country Santa visits. You could check out the list of countries below and if your country isn't on that list, drop us an email at wegotyou@givethecoldshoulder.com and we will advise accordingly.
